Looking to reserve a 2 week parking spot in October, ATL is $500, Fast Past is $288 The parking Spot is $188 and Peachy is $140. So that means, The Spot or Peachy. I have used The parking spot in the past but had issues with the pickup at both ends the last time, left us sitting in the parking lot for about 20 minutes and then had trouble getting on their shuttle when we arrived back. Other than that i've had pretty good service. But never used them for International. I also have never used Peachy. Usually when flying international we park on the 75/85 side for a shorter bus transfer. Just looking for advice on which is easier to get to and if anyone has an opinion on Peachy. (ps, Driving down from Tennessee on a Saturday morning, so don't expect Traffic to be at its worst. ) lol.
Any other options i should look at. Most hotels don't like a 16 day parking stay i think.
It sounds like you’ve got a few options for parking at ATL, and it’s great that you’re weighing the pros and cons of each. Here's a breakdown of the options you mentioned, including some additional thoughts on Peachy and your overall parking situation.
1. The Parking Spot: - Since you’ve used this service before, you’re likely familiar with the routine, but your past experience with shuttle delays is worth considering. While The Parking Spot generally has good reviews and a solid reputation, the shuttle service can be hit or miss during peak travel times. However, for international travel, they do have a good number of shuttles operating 24/7, so you may get a quicker ride during early or off-peak hours. - Location-wise, it’s relatively easy to get to via the I-75/85 side, which is a plus for your transfer needs. - The price at $188 for a two-week stay is competitive, especially if you have a good past experience overall with their service.
2. Peachy: - Peachy is often a more affordable option, coming in at $140 for your two-week stay, but it’s a newer player compared to some of the more established parking services like The Parking Spot. - It’s definitely cheaper, and for the price, it could be a good deal. However, since you’ve never used Peachy, it’s important to consider that it may not have the same frequency of shuttles as some of the more popular services. - Peachy is located on the other side of the airport, closer to the I-285 loop, so it’s a bit further from the terminals. The shuttle ride could be slightly longer, but the savings might make it worth it, especially for a two-week stay. - Reviews for Peachy are generally decent, but they can vary. Some customers mention the shuttles can take longer compared to other services, so it’s something to keep in mind, especially for international flights where timely transfers are crucial.
3. Additional Options: - If you’re looking for alternatives to the two you mentioned, consider FastPark, which is priced at $288. It’s a bit more expensive than Peachy but is known for great shuttle service and convenience. They also have a good reputation for quick transfers and security, which might make the higher price worth it if you want peace of mind. - Another option is Peachy Parking Lot on the 75/85 side, as you typically park on that side for shorter bus transfers, but again, it’s the shuttle service that can be variable.
4. Hotel Parking: As you mentioned, most hotels won’t allow you to leave your car for extended periods (like 16 days), but it’s worth checking with some airport-area hotels to see if they offer park-and-ride options. Some hotels near the airport provide long-term parking for guests with shuttle services included, though you may need to book a room for at least one night for that privilege.
In conclusion, Peachy is a good budget-friendly option, but if you're looking for reliability and ease, particularly for international travel, The Parking Spot or FastPark might be better choices. The added peace of mind and more frequent shuttle service might be worth the extra cost.
Have a safe and smooth trip!
