Hi. We haven’t been to Disney WDW before and I am just seeing all the info about the Very Merry Christmas Party.
Can you please clarify - these are separate tickets on top of your entrance ticket? And also, if you have a ticket purchased for those days do they make you exit it the park at 4pm if you haven’t purchased the Christmas Party tickets?
Thanks all answers appreciated.
The Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) at Walt Disney World is a special event that requires a separate ticket, in addition to your regular park admission. Here’s a breakdown of how it works and the rules around entry:
Yes, the Very Merry Christmas Party is an additional ticketed event. It’s not included in the regular park admission. If you want to attend the Christmas party, you must purchase a separate MVMCP ticket for the evening. This event typically runs from around 7:00 PM to midnight, but the festivities often begin earlier in the evening.
Regarding the park exit: If you have a regular park ticket (for example, to Magic Kingdom) on the same day as the Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney does ask non-party ticket holders to leave the park after 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, depending on the specific event date. However, if you have purchased the Christmas Party ticket, you will be allowed to stay in the park after regular park hours. For those who haven't bought the MVMCP ticket, Disney will ask you to exit by a certain time (usually around 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM), at which point the park begins to prepare for the party and its special activities.
It’s a great event if you're looking to experience Disney during the holiday season, as it includes special parades, fireworks, exclusive shows, and even "snow" on Main Street. Keep in mind that the event can sell out, so it’s best to buy tickets in advance if you’re planning to attend.
