Finally visited Andong Hahoe Village! 🤩 UNESCO World Heritage Site? Don't overthink it! It's like a time travel experience to 600 years ago. ⏳
🏡 The village scenery is a 'cheat code'
The village is surrounded by a river, and the view is breathtaking. 👀 Just strolling between the traditional tiled-roof houses and thatched-roof houses is the ultimate healing experience. It's so easy to capture Instagram-worthy shots! Especially the grand old houses like Chunghyodang and Yangjindang—they're absolutely majestic.
🎭 Don't miss the mask dance!
If you're lucky, you can catch the Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori performance! It's super exciting and fun, so make sure to watch it if you can! 🎉 Also, don't forget to climb Buyongdae on the opposite side of the village for a panoramic view of the entire area. It's incredibly refreshing! ⛰️
🗺️ How to get there by public transport (for beginners!)
1. Arrive at Andong Station/Andong Bus Terminal!
2. Take a bus:
* Take bus number 246 to go directly to Hahoe Village! 🚌 (The intervals between buses are a bit long, so check the schedule in advance!)
* Travel time: About 40 minutes to 1 hour.
> 💡 Tip: Taking a taxi from downtown Andong is more convenient, but 💰 it can be pricey! If you can't find the bus schedule, just look for the bus stop for number 246 in front of Andong Station!
