The beauty of Krabi

Getting There - Catch a flight from Bangkok or take a ferry from Phuket.

Hotels - I stayed at two different hotels while here and each would appeal to different types of travelers.

The first hotel was Centra by Centara; this hotel was very elegant and offer many amenities but I found it to be outdated in terms of its technological services and it didn’t suit me for my fitness requirements.

The second hotel was Cosi and this hotel is definitely more geared towards solo traveling and has excellent tech amenities. It also has a well equipped and maintained gym.

Food & Restaurants - if you are staying in Ao Nang you can pop into any of the restaurants along the beach but I would definitely recommend finding a place called “The last fisherman’s bar” it is right on the beach, the food is great the staff are extremely friendly, especially their manager and you have the ocean a few feet away. Also if you are into health like me there is a great health restaurant near Khunsuek Muay Thai hostel.

Shopping - Most shopping is available on the beach but I would recommend getting a bike and riding further inland’s because prices are set at tourist levels near the beach but decrease as you move further in.
