The Shirvanshah's Palace is one of the historical monuments in the inner city of Baku, Azerbaijan. It is a 15th-century palace built by the Shirvanshahs, described by UNESCO as "one of the pearls of Azerbaijani architecture". In 1964, the palace complex was declared a museum-reserve and is under state protection. In 2000, it was listed in the UNESCO World Historic Monuments List📝
The main complex of the Shirvanshah Palace includes: the palace, the reception room of the Diwankana Palace, the tomb, the King's Mosque with a minaret, the Sayyid Yahya Bakuwi Mausoleum, an eastern gateway to the south of the palace, the Murad Gate, the reservoir and the remains of the bathhouse🇦🇿The tomb, palace and mosque are all built with local limestone, and the stone grilles and masonry are the same🪨✨
There is an ancient mosque next to the mausoleum🕌The ruins of the bathhouse still exist to the west of the tomb. The well in the Shirvanshahs Palace and the hill on which the palace was built are believed to have healing properties💊🌟
The Shirvanshahs Palace is a masterpiece of Azerbaijan’s national values, combining the glory of medieval culture, science, art and all other moral beauty. Must visit 😍🏰🏰🇦🇿
