▫️ The New City is modern and stylish, with iconic buildings like the famous Flame Towers

Right at the West Gate entrance is the Museum of Miniature Books, with thousands of tiny books including ancient Chinese mini books, closed on Mondays‼️

The Maiden Tower is also a World Heritage Site, a medieval fortress once used for military defense, ticket required to climb

The main spots to check out in the New City are divided into two parts:

📍 Heydar Aliyev Center
Take the metro to the northern Heydar Aliyev Center, a New City landmark with a futuristic white building and an internal museum, see image 10
◼️ Southern New City
📍 Funicular Baku
Head here to take the tram up to Highland Park~ the tram is closed on Mondays‼️
📍 Highland Park
Come here to overlook the night view; there’s quite a bit to explore in Highland Park:
