#holidayitinerary

Nizami Street (Azerbaijani: Nizami küçəsi) is the most famous shopping and pedestrian street in Baku, often compared to Paris’s Champs-Élysées or Moscow’s Arbat. It’s both a historic promenade and a modern lifestyle hub. Runs through the heart of central Baku, starting from Fountains Square and stretching westward for about 3.5 km. The pedestrianized part (often called Torgovaya Street) is the most popular. ,amed after the 12th-century Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi. Built in the mid-19th century, many buildings here are in neoclassical, baroque, and art nouveau styles from the oil-boom era.
