Panglipuran, the Cleanest Village in Bali

Want to experience more of the cultural side of Bali? It’s time to go somewhere away from the touristy attractions and spots and have a look at Balinese villages and traditional homes.
I brought my girlfriend to Penglipuran Village after visiting Tibumana waterfall. She dressed in balinese traditional clothes called Kebaya. There is a wide selection of top and bottom in different colours and patterns which is quite unique because everyone could dress differently. But we noticed that women in the same village would dress in the same colour and batik (the fabric used for the bottom) when attending ceremonies or events.
It was such an authentic experience to visit here and you will get to appreciate their traditional architecture style in detail. The locals here stay very close by with their neighbors as short houses are packed together. Opening hours are from 8:15am to 6:30pm. Coming early or before closing would be great and sometimes you might even enjoy a beautiful sunset here!
