Balangan Beach

Wide white sand beach on Kuta Selatan's west coast, facing a beautiful view of Badung, Tabanan and Jembrana, and the occasional planes heading in and out of Ngurah Rai to the north.

Entry per scooter was Rp10K when I visited, plenty of parking and spots to grab a bite or a cheeky Bintang. Only a few peddlers, but mostly chill and not aggresive.

Best times to visit seem to be before 10.00 or after 15.00, especially for those looking to surf as the waves build up during that time.
