Nusa Dua, known for its luxury resorts right on the beach, has well-maintained walking paths and surroundings, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing staycation. Unlike the traffic nightmare in Ubud, Nusa Dua has no traffic jams, and the roads are clean and well-maintained, making you wonder if this is really Bali.

Since the hotel is right on the beach, it was perfect for my favorite pastime of zoning out by the sea, and being a luxury resort complex, the walking paths were well developed, making it an overall satisfying hotel.

Even if it’s not quite luxury, I thought it was the best value-for-money staycation spot in Southeast Asia.
