📞Hello, hello. I heard and responded.
✨️The oldest palace in Thailand that is still in continuous use is Bang Pa-In Palace.
✨️An ancient palace dating back to the Ayutthaya period, built by King Prasat Thong. After the second fall of Ayutthaya, the palace was abandoned.
✨️This palace became famous again when the great poet Sunthorn Phu accompanied King Rama I to pay homage to the Buddha's footprint in Saraburi. He composed the poem "Nirat Phra Bat" (Royal Thai Nirat) about Bang Pa-In Palace.
✨️It was not until the reign of King Rama IV that renovations began. During the reign of King Rama V, a major renovation was carried out, creating numerous palaces, palaces, and other residences.
✨️The palace is divided into two areas: the outer royal court, consisting of Ho Hem Monthon Thewarat, Aisawan Thiphya-at Throne Hall, Warophat Phiman Throne Hall, Saphakan Ratchaprayoon Throne Hall, the Tram Tent, and the Royal Pavilion House. The Inner Royal Palace includes the Uthayan Phumisathien Throne Hall, the Witun Thasana Hall, the Buppha Prapas Pavilion, the Wehat Chamrun Throne Hall, the Inner Palace Complex, the Queen Sunandha Kumariratana Monument, the Rajanusorn Memorial Monument, and the Thewarat Krallai Gate.
✨️Each site features a diverse mix of architecture, including Thai, Khmer, Chinese, and Greek, surrounded by rare plant species.
Open daily.
Admission fee: 30 baht. Umbrellas are available for free rental.
