📍Tanukikoji Shopping Street

No matter what city or region you visit in Japan, you're sure to see an arcade street ☺️.

Today, the arcade street I'm introducing is Tanukikoji Shopping Street, located near Susukino Station in Sapporo🛍️.

Tanukikoji is the Japanese word for raccoon dog, and you'll find tanuki characters all over the street🦝.

Tanukikoji Street is home to a variety of restaurants, as well as shops like Mega Don Quijote, Loft, Daiso, and drugstores🛍️.

The crepe restaurant RiQ is also located here, so be sure to stop by if you visit Tanukikoji Street😆.

It's a must-visit Sapporo destination where you can enjoy dining, snacking, and shopping all in one place🛍️.

I always stop by here every time I'm in Sapporo.

Take the Namboku Line from Sapporo Station to Susukino Station, then walk for about 3 minutes (total travel time: about 10 minutes)
