📍"The Raweekanlaya Bangkok", an old house from the reign of King Rama VI

Raweekanlaya is an old house built during the reign of King Rama VI and was originally the residence of His Majesty's wet nurse. This place is also part of Thewet Palace, and the original structure has been preserved. We really enjoyed staying here, as it was like taking us back in time, which was impressive.

This time, we booked a Mattana premier room, which is a room on the upper floor of the Thai house in the front. The room is not very big, but everything is very well-arranged. The bed is very soft and comfortable to sleep on, and as usual, the headboard has different poems from Thai literature. The bathroom is very good. The soap and lotion here smell really good. We like everything about this hotel, which is located in the heart of Phra Nakhon, but it is peaceful and we really feel like we are on vacation.

The hotel is located along Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem, Thewet.
