Enlightening canal cruises in Bangkok

I’ve been to Bankok many times and on this trip, I decided to go on the canal tour for the afternoon. It was rather enlightening as most of the tour was in narrow canals surrounding the heart of the city.

Firstly, I went to Bkk Boat trip company and got the ticket, I was transported by motorbike to the pier and waited a few minutes for the longtail to arrive. All the passengers got on and the journey began.

We had to wait for the water control gates to close behind us and open in front. Going up and down on the murky waters, we got to see the contrast of the city, the living spaces of those that reside next to the water. There are a few restaurants, and in the distance we also passed the big golden Buddha.
