Bangkok’s fairytale butterfly garden

Need a break from bustling Bangkok? Want a touch of nature? Why not visit Bangkok’s Butterfly Garden and Insectarium!

This huge garden is filled with beautiful butterfly’s, bright flowers, and almost infinite photo spots! With Thailand being home to over 1,100 butterfly species, it would be a shame to miss this perfect place to spot them.

When you first enter, you’ll need to sign a quick, online consent form, and then you walk through a small exhibition space with information about the butterfly’s and the garden. A huge bonus is that the exhibition space is air conditioned! So we went back in several times just for relief from the strong Thai sun.

The butterfly garden is also located inside Wachirabenchathat Park. So if you’ve finished butterfly spotting but still want to see more nature, the park has plenty more greenery to explore!
