[Bangkok] Must-visit Thai festivals!

Here are some Thai festivals that you should definitely visit 🍀

Loy Krathong 🪷 A representative Thai festival.
It comes from the custom of offering gratitude to the river goddess and floating lanterns (krathongs) down the river (loy) 🍀

It is held on the night of the full moon in November, so the date changes every year, so be sure to check 🖕

I floated the lanterns at Benjasiri Park 🕯️

There were a lot of stalls selling krathongs around the park at this time of year!
The park was surprisingly not crowded, and the sidewalks were crowded with stalls and people 😅

There were traditional ones, as well as modern krathongs with dolls on them, which were cute 🐻 I bought one for 50 baht 🪷
