Wat Ratchanadda (Loha Prasat)

Loha Prasat is the first castle built during the reign of King Rama III.

✔️Wat Ratchanadda is located in the area of Phlapphla Maha Jesada Bodin courtyard. The top of the castle enshrines the Buddha's relics. Loha Prasat has been renovated several times. Loha Prasat is located on the west side of the ordination hall. It was built by the royal command of King Rama III. It is a 2-story castle with 1,000 rooms. The top of the castle is made of gold. The second Loha Prasat was built by King Dutthagamani of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. It is a 9-story castle with 1,000 rooms, each side 100 cubits wide and high, with a roof covered in copper sheets.
