“River City Bangkok: 40 Years of Magnificent Display of Art and Antiques” is an exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of the founding of “River City Bangkok”. This event is divided into 2 parts:

1. “Ad Astra Per Aspera: Through Hardships to the Stars” is an exhibition that tells the history of River City Bangkok through ‘Adisorn Charanajit’ (1952 – 2003), a former senior executive. The Oriental Hotel (now Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok) and Italthai Group (now Italthai Group) transformed River City Bangkok (formerly River City) into the first shopping mall on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, famous for its rare antiques from all over the world.

2. “Before Sunrise”, a grand group art exhibition showcasing the work of talented artists from 7 galleries: La Lanta Fine Art, MeArt Gallery, Number1gallery, Pagoda the Art Club, Tang Contemporary Art, Trendy Gallery and River City Bangkok, who have come together to create stunning works to celebrate this important occasion.

This event brings together artworks, antiques and the long history of River City Bangkok for the first time since its establishment. For those who follow the art world and love consuming art, don't miss this event.
