Traces of Time: Bangkok Folk Museum and Old Town Walk

#Bangkok Itinerary
When I arrived in Bangkok early in the morning, I walked into the Bangkok Folk Museum hidden in the alleys of the old city. This museum, which was converted from an old house, retains the architectural style of the early 20th century, making people feel like traveling through time. The museum displays the furniture, daily necessities and life scenes of the residents at that time, and each item tells the story of Bangkok's past. The tour guide kindly shared bits and pieces of the city’s history and culture, which helped me gain a better understanding of this land. In the afternoon, I chose to stroll around the area and found several hidden cafes. I sat down to enjoy Thai milk tea and quietly observed the life in the streets and alleys.
The second day's tour began at the market in the old town. The market was filled with colorful handicrafts and fresh fruits, and I picked up some local specialties as souvenirs. Next, I visited a small art exhibition nearby and felt the collision of contemporary art and the atmosphere of the old times. In the afternoon, I came to the Bangkok Museum again and tasted authentic Thai green curry in a traditional restaurant. In the evening, I took a walk to the riverside, feeling the gentleness and quietness of Bangkok at sunset, which was a perfect end to the two-day trip.
