✨️Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen is located on the bank of Khlong Bang Luang, which used to be the original Chao Phraya River before the canal was dug in front of Wat Arun until the water changed direction.

✨️This temple used to be a dilapidated temple before Phra Somut Chanthasaro from Wat Phra Chetuphon came to be the abbot in 1916 and taught Samatha-Vipassana meditation, promoted the study of Buddhist scriptures, established both Dhamma and Pali schools, and built the most modern Buddhist scriptures school at that time until the temple became a center for meditation practice. People flocked from all directions.

✨️Sala "Sod" was built grandly with 2 floors. The lower floor is used for various events. The upper floor houses a wax figure of Luang Pho Sod inside a beautifully carved wooden pavilion. You can come up and pay respect to Luang Pho Sod.

✨️Inside the temple, there is also the Maha Chedi Ratchamongkol and a large Buddha statue that are under renovation. There is a boat rental point to see Khlong Bang Luang.
