Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan (Wat Phu Khao Thong)

Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan, also known as Wat Phu Khao Thong, is a second-class royal temple located on the banks of the Maha Nak Canal. Its distinctive feature is the majestic Phu Khao Thong (Golden Mount) perched on a high hill, visible from afar. This ancient temple dates back to the Ayutthaya period. To reach the temple, climb 344 steps and enjoy a 360-degree view of Bangkok. This temple is considered sacred and incredibly beautiful.
📌 Location: Located on the banks of the Maha Nak Canal in Pom Prap Sattru Phai District, Bangkok, near Mahakan Fort. You can see Wat Ratchanadda and Wat Suthat.

You can drive there, but parking is limited. If you're taking the subway, get off at Sam Yot Station, Exit 3, and then take a taxi or tuk-tuk.
