Don Don Don Donki

I believe anyone who has been to Donki must know this song because they play it on repeat all day until it gets stuck in your head 🤣

Donki is a Japanese supermarket that has opened branches in Thailand. Donki has a huge variety of products, selling everything from mortar and pestles to battleships. Besides having a wide range of items, most of the products in the store are imported from Japan. We love shopping here because there are so many choices and we get to see things we’ve never seen in Thai supermarkets.

Many products at Donki are popular items in Japan, such as face masks, skincare, chocolates, and various snacks. You don’t have to go to Japan to use these trendy Japanese products. Importantly, some items are priced similarly to what they cost in Japan.

And we can’t forget the roasted sweet potatoes. They’re amazing and absolutely delicious. Every time we go, we have to bring some back, usually one or two each time. These sweet potatoes are magical—delicious when hot, but if you freeze them overnight, they become even more incredible. Definitely worth stocking up in your fridge at home.

Donki has several branches in Bangkok. We usually go to the Silom branch because we often work around that area. The Silom branch has two floors, and the products inside are dazzling. Stepping into the store feels like entering another world. You can easily spend hours inside there, haha.
