In downtown Bangkok, there is a huge golden Buddha over 20 stories high.

If you look out the window while sitting on the BTS, you may see a magnificent golden Buddha standing in the city! This is one of Bangkok’s newest landmarks, the Golden Buddha at Wat Pratunam!
This is the third tallest Buddha statue in Thailand. It was newly built in 2022 and is open to everyone for free! The Golden Buddha took five years to build. It is 69 meters high, which is about the height of a 20-story building. The Buddha looks majestic and sacred, and its appearance is magnificent and grand! In addition to entering the temple for a close look, you can also take a sightseeing boat to visit it on the canal next to it!
