📍Plaça de Sants
If you want to get a glimpse of a local residential area, head to the Plaça de Sants district. It's not a tourist spot, so it's not a must-visit, but you can see some unique apartments. Barcelona is definitely eco-friendly, with lots of greenery on apartment balconies.
📍Parc de l’Espanya Industrial
There was a really nice kindergarten here. A park right next to it, open walls, a pond surrounding the classrooms—it just seems like the perfect learning environment! But I wondered if it might feel a bit too open.
📍Hostafrancs
It seems like the area is divided into Sants and Hostafrancs, with Parc de l’Espanya Industrial at the center. Getting closer to Plaza de España 🏃🏻♀️. There was a massive building nearby—maybe a stadium or a theater, not sure. Barcelona taxis are yellow and black 😎🚖.
📍Plaza de España
Plaza de España is not only beautiful but also a masterpiece! On the way to Montjuïc, there are two large pillars on either side.
📍Montjuïc
It seems like others visit the Montjuïc Castle way up there. But since I was on foot, I debated whether to go and eventually gave up 😅. Instead, I opted for a different attraction here! Definitely worth a visit—it serves its purpose well 😙.
📍Palau Nacional de Montjuïc (National Art Museum of Catalonia)
Inside, you're greeted by a dome ceiling, and interestingly, there's a sofa placed right in the center. You can view Catalan-style tiles from the old days and uniquely designed cabinets. It's quite distinctive, and I feel like there could still be demand for such designs even today 🤔. Personally, I found the museum's architectural style more captivating than the exhibitions 😝.
