Batu Caves – The Stairs to the Sky

"This place is not just a cave... it's a dialogue between man and the divine."
I still vividly remember standing on the 270 rainbow-colored steps,
looking up to see the statue of the god Murugan towering in the sky.
It was a sight both beautiful and serene at the same time. ☀️

🗺️ How to get to Batu Caves
Starting from Kuala Lumpur
🚆 Take the KTM Komuter Line (Sentul–Batu Caves route)
from KL Sentral → get off at Batu Caves Station (approximately 30 minutes).
Walk out of the station in less than 5 minutes and you'll see the rainbow-colored steps and the large statue standing before you.
---
💡 Things to know before you go
Open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
There is no admission fee, except for some of the inner caves.
Dress appropriately (shoulders and knees covered).
If you're taking photos, we recommend going in the morning. The sun's rays are setting just right on the rainbow stairs. 🌈

🌿 My feelings, the sounds of birds, the chimes, and the smell of incense mingling in the air,
make this place more than just a tourist attraction,
but a tangible "power of faith."
I hope to return one day,
to climb every step...with a heart more at peace than before. 💛
