Buddha Stupa

Boudhanath Stupa (Bodhinath)
The largest circular stupa in Nepal
is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is located approximately 8 kilometers
from the center of Kathmandu.

This stupa is unique. Looking up at the top,
you will see the Buddha's four-pointed "eye of wisdom" or "eye of wisdom" (the "eye of enlightenment"), as if watching over you all the time.

Many people come to pay their respects,
some spinning the surrounding prayer wheels,
some of them tourists of various nationalities, including Nepalese
and Tibetan monks in red robes.

The stupa is also adorned with prayer flags
believed to protect those passing by.

Entrance fee: 400 rupees for foreigners.
