🙏✨ Lama Temple, also known as Yonghe Gong (雍和宫, Yonghe Gong Lama Temple) ✨🙏
If you're visiting Beijing and looking for a place that combines sacredness with historical charm, this is a must-visit spot!
This Tibetan Buddhist temple was once the old palace of Emperor Yongzheng, allowing visitors to experience both the atmosphere of a temple and a palace in one place 🏯
🌏 Highlights include the fusion of four Chinese ethnic cultures: Han, Mongolian, Manchu, and Tibetan.
✨ Must-see attractions:
A giant sandalwood Buddha statue carved from a single piece of wood, standing 18 meters tall 🪵 (It's even listed in the Guinness Book of Records!)
The scent of incense, the smoke, and the people paying their respects create a serene and sacred atmosphere.
Beautiful buildings and pavilions reflect the grandeur of Chinese history.
📍 Getting there is super easy:
Take Subway Line 2 to Yonghegong Station 雍和宫站, Exit C 🚇
Admission is only 25 yuan (free for children), making it a great value.
✅ If you have the chance to visit Beijing, I highly recommend setting aside some time to pay your respects here. You'll gain both blessings and unforgettable memories 🙏
