📍Address: Located 30 km west of Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The main peak, Tianzhu Peak, also known as Jinding, has an elevation of 3,240m.
🚗Transportation: Bus: Take a bus to Jizu Mountain from Xiaguan Bus Station. Tickets cost CNY 35/person. Buses depart daily at 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, and 10:30am (Pay attention to the times and arrive early).
Direct Bus: Purchase round-trip direct bus tickets to Jizu Mountain at the Dali Ancient City Tourist Service Center for CNY 85/person (includes admission, cable car, and sightseeing bus tickets).
🕙Opening Hours: 8:00am–6:00pm.
🗓Itinerary: Zhusheng Temple Parking Lot > Walk to the sightseeing bus transfer station > Take the bus to the cable car lower station > Walk to Huideng Nunnery > Walk to Jiaye Hall > Walk to Tongwa Hall > Walk to Huashou Gate > Walk to Jinding Temple.
👍Recommended: [One] Zhusheng Temple: One of the most famous temples on Jizu Mountain, it houses numerous Buddha statues and cultural relics.
[Two] Jinding Temple: Located at the highest point of Jizu Mountain, this temple features a 32m-tall golden-topped pagoda, offering panoramic views of Jizu Mountain.
[Three] Huashou Gate: A famous scenic spot on Jizu Mountain, it is said to be the dojo of Mahakasyapa, one of Sakyamuni's chief disciples.
💰Tickets: CNY 55/person. Cable Car: CNY 75/person (round-trip), CNY 45/person (one-way up), CNY 30/person (one-way down).
📌Tips: 1. Be careful of wild macaques. They're known to snatch food, grab people, and rummage through bags! The scenery and spiritual atmosphere of Jizu Mountain are definitely worth experiencing, but remember to bring sunscreen. The UV rays on the mountain are no joke; you'll get sunburned in minutes without it! Don't forget to apply sunscreen.
2. Wear comfortable shoes, as there are many mountain trails that will leave your legs trembling!
3. There's a large temperature difference between day and night on the mountain. Be mindful of the time and try not to descend in the dark.
