“Bo Kluea” is a district in Nan Province. This small district is famous for its salt production on the mountain, which is over 800 years old and is “the only mountain salt pond in the world.” It also has a beautiful landscape, surrounded by lush green mountains and natural streams.

Currently, there are 2 salt ponds that are still boiling salt: Bo Kluea Nuea and Bo Kluea Nuea. Salt production stops during the Buddhist Lent and resumes during the end of Buddhist Lent.
