The Butchart Gardens is the most famous tourist attraction in the flower city of Victoria. Strolling through the vast grounds, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the blooming flowers🪻. In addition to walking around, you can also enjoy afternoon tea at the garden's restaurant🫖. It is recommended to make a reservation for afternoon tea in advance! There are also shops within the garden where you can purchase ice cream and drinks🍦.

⚫︎ If you're just exploring, 3 hours should be enough.

⚫︎ The gardens are easily accessible from downtown Victoria by bus🚍. Take bus number 75, and you'll arrive in just under an hour. The fare was 3 Canadian dollars one way (as of August 2025). For the return trip, there is a bus stop right outside the garden, so you can board from there. The garden's information center has bus schedules, so it's a good idea to check them first.
