5 minutes by taxi from Osiri Station on the Donghae Line. A temple built on a rocky area in the sea, it is said that one wish will be granted. Built in 1376 during the Goryeo period, you can worship the "Haesu Kannon Buddha", one of the largest in Korea, towering on a hill.
γγ
There are various Buddha statues, including stone statues of the twelve zodiacs and the guardian deity of Jeju Island, "Dolharubang". There is also a "golden pig" and Hotei, which are symbols of good fortune.

When you enter the temple, there are 108 steps that are said to wipe away worldly desires. You can throw offerings from the bridge, and there are many things to see before heading to the main hall.
γγ
Wish-granting tiles are sold for 10,000w and can be donated to the temple. For 1,000w, you can write your wish for love and tie it to a gold leaf, and if you are successful in tossing the coin, your wish will come true.
γγ
From the approach to the entrance, there are stalls where you can buy souvenirs, eat, and drink. There are also snacks to eat on the go.
γγ
The best way to get here is by taxi from the nearest station. There are plenty of taxis waiting on the way back. The Tokaido Line runs quite infrequently, so you should plan your visit with plenty of time. We also recommend taking a taxi from a station on Line 2.
