Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge

Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge is one of the most impressive scenic spots I visited in Busan. It combines the thrill of height with breathtaking sea views that stretch far and wide. Getting to the bridge is relatively easy: I started from Busan Station, took Line 1 of the subway to Songdo Station, and then walked about 15–20 minutes along the seaside path and small alleys to reach the bridge entrance.

As I stepped onto the bridge, the first thing I noticed was the slight swaying of the suspension bridge when the wind blew, and the open structure that allowed an unobstructed view of the sea on both sides. Looking down, I could see the turquoise-blue sea with fishing boats floating here and there, which made me feel both excited and refreshed at the same time.

The bridge spans across a small bay and connects to a seaside walking path, allowing visitors to enjoy the view while taking photos from various angles. Each angle offers a view of small islands and the beautifully curved Songdo coastline, resembling a painting. Walking on the bridge felt like flying over the sea, with sunlight reflecting off the water, making the overall scenery even more vibrant and stunning.

What I loved most was the atmosphere on the bridge. The tranquility from the sound of waves, the breeze, and the expansive sea view made me feel relaxed. However, the thrill from the height added an exciting element. It’s perfect for photography enthusiasts and those seeking new experiences. Visiting the Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge is truly a perfect blend of fun, excitement, and the natural beauty of Busan.
