Joshua Tree National Park: A Special Day in the Enchanting Desert

Joshua Tree National Park is a place where the endless desert, peculiar rock formations, and the unique Joshua trees create a landscape that feels like stepping onto another planet.

First, I walked the Hidden Valley Trail. Though it’s a short and easy course, the natural maze formed by massive rocks and the Joshua trees scattered throughout the desert filled the atmosphere with mystery. The serene desert, accompanied only by the sound of the wind, brought a sense of peace to my mind.

Next, I climbed up to Keys View, where I could take in the entire park and even see the distant Coachella Valley. The expansive view and the vastness of the desert provided a liberating and unforgettable experience.

As the sun began to set, I explored the Barker Dam Trail. The desert and rocks, bathed in a reddish glow, revealed a completely different charm compared to daytime. After the sun had fully set, the sky was filled with countless stars and the Milky Way, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
