Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in a beautiful forest-themed restaurant

This is probably the most beautiful Marriott breakfast restaurant I've experienced in over a year, and the food quality is quite good.

Although the JW Marriott Changsha is a high-rise hotel, the breakfast restaurant is located on the 3rd floor rather than the upper levels (requiring an elevator transfer from the 35th-floor lobby). While this may be more convenient for outside diners, it's somewhat unfortunate - combining the restaurant's unique design with a high-rise view would have enhanced the experience and better suited its "Cloud Platform" name.

The restaurant's design language can be described as forest-themed, featuring frames, linear elements, and glass. The indoor partitions are complemented by hanging plants within glass-framed dividers, which beautifully echo the lush greenery outside - the hotel is situated in a quiet, verdant neighborhood.

The restaurant is spacious, with winding partitions, diverse seating options, and generous spacing between tables, all contributing to a very comfortable dining experience.

1. Perhaps due to the relatively low number of diners, there was no host or beverage service after card entry, though this was forgivable given the self-service TWG tea available.

2. The noodle station offers freshly cooked rice noodles and mixed noodles. The secret to their deliciousness is "extra toppings" - both the spicy stir-fried pork and braised meat toppings are richly flavored.

3. While the Eggs Benedict at the egg station is pre-made, it's well-maintained at the right temperature, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked, though the hollandaise sauce, while properly seasoned, could be more generous. They also offer a special "marinated duck egg roll," though I honestly couldn't taste much duck flavor.

4. The Chinese hot dishes section was unremarkable - I made do with the spicy stir-fried pork and tomato scrambled eggs from the noodle station. The Western section did offer tender sausages, though the smoked salmon was consistently empty and never replenished.

5. The bakery section was impressive, featuring bagels, pretzels, ciabatta, and baguette sandwiches, along with delicious cheese beef pastries and crispy croissants.

6. The fruit and salad section was average, and I don't believe they offered fresh-squeezed juices.

Overall, the environment is excellent, and the food quality is above average, fitting for the JW brand positioning.
