🌄 Arrived in Sicily, it's like Fuxian Lake

In front of me is the azure water of Fuxian Lake, and behind me are the Italian retro arches and mottled wind-eroded white walls. I thought I was on the Mediterranean coast, until I caught a glimpse of the mountains in central Yunnan on the other side of the lake, and then I confirmed that I was still in Yunnan.

This was originally the creation base of an art institution,
not a traditional homestay business.
After the establishment of the Other Shore Art Society in 1990,
it was used as a base for creation and exhibitions,
and then expanded to guest room services.
The gallery on the first floor retains the attributes of an exhibition hall,
new exhibitions are changed every month,
even the corridors are hung with original oil paintings,
the stay experience is like an art tour.

Unlike the blue roof and white wall design of Xiaowan Village,
this place takes the Italian fusion aesthetics.
Walk through the red perforated staircase to the room,
Chinese antique cabinets are matched with Italian iron beds,
Renaissance mirrors are hung on the vermilion walls,
combining the artistic sense of the Apennine Peninsula.

🛏 Guest Room | In Room
The 12 rooms are divided into three categories: lake view/mountain view.
The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake and mountain view into a huge oil painting.
Each room has customized wallpaper color according to the lighting.
Even each chair is specially selected in a different style.

🔖 Summary | Conclusion
If Xiaowan Village is the "Little Santorini" in Yunnan,
this is the "Sicily" hidden by Fuxian Lake.
The walls are full of abstract lines.
The breath is full of dreams of pine wood fragrance.
Come here for a day's rest and keep warm memories.
