Feng Village on Jinhu Street in Daye City is known as the Jiuguqi Village. It has ancient houses, ancient temples, ancient trees, ancient wells, ancient roads and ancient steles. This is what you can see. Some ancient villages will see ancient bridges, ancient gates, towers and ancient village walls, but there are none here. The village is not big. It is at the foot of a mountain and is surrounded by mountains in front. The scenery after snow is even more beautiful. I heard that 200 million yuan was invested in the construction of scenic spots based on ancient villages. Judging from the repairs of the houses, it didn't cost much. Maybe the glass plank road and other facilities not far away cost a lot. We weren't interested in those things, so we didn't go.
There is Kedaxing Ancient Village more than ten kilometers away. The scenery is not as good as Shangfeng Village, but the old buildings look more impressive than Shangfeng Village. It is said that it was the ancestral house built after the prosperity of Ke Daxing in the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. Later generations continued to add buildings around it, forming the current scale. It is a pity that the descendants of the Ke family have gone to other places, and the old houses are dilapidated. However, the style of a wealthy family can still be seen in the brick and wood carvings.
