Wat Rong Suea Ten is a famous temple in Mueang Chiang Rai District. It stands out with its vibrant blue chapel, contrasted with gold motifs. Built by Sala Nok (Phutthakorn Sikhalip), a disciple of Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat, the temple's contemporary art style resembles Wat Rong Khun, yet it has its own unique identity.
👉Temple Highlights
✅The blue chapel, both inside and out, uses blue as the primary color, symbolizing Dharma, the vastness of the world, and peace.
✅The principal Buddha image, "Phra Phuttha Ratchamongkhon Bodhi Triloknath," is beautifully contrasted with the blue walls.
✅The doors and arches are decorated with Naga serpents, with exquisite detail.
✅The murals inside the chapel, in shades of blue and gold, depict the life of the Buddha and Dharma concepts.
The temple grounds offer many beautiful photo opportunities, including outdoor Buddha statues and various stucco designs.
