There are so many people on holiday, of course we have to travel in the opposite direction😄
I chose the slightly less popular city of Chizhou, Anhui! The famous Jiuhua Mountain is right here, and it can be reached by high-speed rail and airplane, so transportation is actually very convenient!
After staying in Chizhou for three days, I found that there are basically no tourists from other provinces except those who come by car or high-speed rail from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui.
Jiuhua Mountain: One of the four famous Buddhist mountains, the dojo of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. It is a good place for pilgrimage and worship of Buddha, and you can also go hiking to see the beautiful scenery (Tiantai Mountain, Huatai). For specific tips, you can read my previous note, which contains a detailed itinerary, transportation, and food. 1. [1-2 days of play]
Guniujiang: The water is very green, a small Jiuzhaigou (Figure 3 is the original picture without filter). You can go creek climbing and see waterfalls. Longmen Lake is the largest and the water is the clearest and most beautiful. There will be traffic jams when driving during holidays, so it is recommended to take a bus to Shitai County and then take a bus to the scenic area. 1. [The scenic area is not big, you can visit it for half a day, and the loop takes 3 hours]
3. Pingtian Lake: A free 4A-level scenic spot in downtown Chizhou, where you can ride a shared electric bike around the lake to relax. Many people fly kites at Lianhuatai, and the sunset is beautiful in the evening. 1【Play for 1 hour】
4 Jiuhua Tianchi: The scenery is almost the same as Guniujiang [Play for half a day
Xinghua Village: The village mentioned in the poem "The shepherd boy points to Xinghua Village in the distance" is this village. You can stop by on the way, but it is not recommended to go there specifically. Go for the free one instead of the paid one.
Dongzhi rice dumplings, stinky mandarin fish, Shitai Yipin pot, Shitai Qiupu river fish, old chicken soup, and Gaozi Baba
PS!! Anhui people love to eat pot, which is a cooking method that combines stir-fry and hot pot. It is divided into dry pot and hot pot with soup. It's very comfortable to eat while hot.
I have also compiled some time-honored delicacies recommended by locals. Friends who take the high-speed rail to Chizhou can go and try them. They are all concentrated in the downtown area of Chizhou (Guichi District), and it is more convenient to go there from the high-speed rail station.
1. Xiaoba (usually eaten for breakfast): Father and son Xiaoba, Happy breakfast, Three sisters breakfast
2. Beef noodles (some shops are open only in the morning): Guangyou Ramen, Wu Kechang Ramen, Minglong Ramen, Afa (opposite Shangzhidu), Guikefang (but the attitude is quite bad)
3 Fried noodles: Xiaoxiang Noodle House, Xiaoba Noodle House, Fat Uncle
4 Barbecue: Xingheyuan Barbecue (no name on the sign, opposite the city fire station), Liu's (opposite Kowloon Times), Huzi
Fried skewers: Greedy duck, really tasty
5
6 Duck Neck: Wangji Spicy Duck Neck
