Wat Yai Inthararam

Wat Yai Inthararam is a royal temple in Mueang Chonburi District. Chonburi people call it Wat Yai for short. It is an ancient temple that is more than 600 years old, since the Ayutthaya period. It is highly respected by Chonburi people. The unique feature of this place is that inside the pavilion there are paintings about the independence and the establishment of the temple by King Taksin the Great, as well as paintings about the way of life of Chonburi people and the buffalo racing tradition of Chonburi Province.
