🗓️ Day 2 in Chongqing – "Adventure in the Sky City"

🌄 Morning – Explore “Hongya Cave”

This is a landmark that everyone must visit! But we want to start early, it’s not crowded yet, take a leisurely walk and take pictures of the ancient wooden buildings that look like they came out of the cartoon “Spirited Away”.

Walking through to the back, the view of the Yangtze River is very good~ The wind blows gently on your face with the skyscrapers in the distance, it feels like a real Cyberpunk city in China.

For breakfast, I ordered Xiaolongbao + hot soy milk from a roadside shop, but it was so delicious.

📸 Recommended angle: Take a picture from the Skywalk on the top floor of Hongya Cave, you will see both the river and the city.

🥘 Noon – Explore “Chongqing Hotpot” like a local.

Recommended restaurant: “Qi Qi Hotpot” in Jiefangbei area, many locals eat here, classic atmosphere.

Order medium spicy (if you're not used to it) to get the real Chongqing taste but not too spicy.

Try ordering "Marinated Pork Belly" and "Duck Blood" for a deep taste.

🌆 Afternoon - Take a walk at Sky Walk

The building is designed like an airplane! There is a glass Sky Walk, suitable for the brave.

Evening - Enjoy the futuristic view at "ZESheng Twin Towers" (泽胜双子塔)

The super-modern twin towers are designed like something out of a sci-fi movie. They are located in Dadukou (大渡口) which is less crowded than downtown, making it easy to walk around and take pictures.

Around the building, there are wide squares, coffee shops, and many photo spots both day and night.

When night falls, the lights from the building change colors and sparkle like you're in a game world or a Chinese Futuristic series.

🕯️ Evening - Take a night view on the Yangtze River.

There are many boat trips. We chose the one around 6 pm. The view starts to change from the golden color of the sun to the sparkling city lights.

Like floating in a sci-fi movie! Chongqing at night is another world

🎟️ The price is around 100-150 yuan. If you choose the VIP seat, the view will be great.

📍Day 2 Summary:

The highlight is the combination of the old city + the future city.

You get both adventure and chill, different from the first day.

The journey doesn't take long, but every stop is worth it!
