Just got back from Qiandao Lake InterContinental with the kids! Two days and one night of completely laid-back fun was amazing! The hotel has lots of activities, the kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave! Tried all kinds of Chinese and Western meals three times a day! - Check-in at 14:00, very efficient～
- Room: We booked a lake view family room, 55㎡ super spacious! 1 tatami mat + 1 large bed, An’an was so happy rolling around～ Balcony view is amazing, overlooking the lake and mountains
- Thoughtful service: Upon check-in, they gave a children’s BBC bath set + baby slippers (attention to detail is perfect!)

🐾 DAY 1 Afternoon: Pet Park + Botanical Adventure

A little world shaded by greenery! Elegant black swans, lively rabbits 🐇, koi fish and ducklings are not afraid of people at all～ An’an was laughing nonstop feeding them with the food in hand 📸

- 15:50 Cool little panda car (near tennis court)
Cute electric car shaped like a panda, An’an drove it around half the lake, fully immersed～ There’s also an outdoor non-motorized playground nearby! (Electric car staff off duty at 17:00, go early)

- 17:05 Lakeside sketching (next to outdoor pool)
The hotel provides drawing boards and paints～ Baby seriously painted landscapes for the first time facing the lake view 🎨

- 17:40 InterContinental Kids’ Playground (B1 floor)
1800㎡ huge space! Ball pit, climbing frames, arcade games… age-segmented zones are so thoughtful～ Parents’ chill zone has massage chairs, billiards, table tennis, perfect for the whole family～

- 18:10 Lakeview all-day dining restaurant (hotel 1st floor)
Must-try Qiandao Lake fish head soup! Milky white broth so fresh it blew our minds, baby drank three bowls 🐟 and there was a special “cutting ceremony” for the fish head! We also ordered durian pizza 🍕 and chicken chop pasta 🍝, super delicious, finished every bite～

🌅 DAY 2: Lighthouse sunrise + little train tour

Buffet was super abundant! Baby dining area for 0-6 years with mini pancakes + animal-shaped buns～ Window seat with stunning lake view

- 9:00 Lighthouse & Peninsula Lake Bar
Popular photo spot! The water and sky blend perfectly, every shot is beautiful～ The lighthouse is an iconic lakeside landmark

- 10:30 Xianshan little train (right side of hotel entrance)
Departs on the hour and half-hour～ Circles the peninsula in about 20 minutes, lake breeze is so refreshing! Perfect weather for the tour～

- 12:00 Xian Chinese Restaurant (hotel 1st floor)
Lunch with local dishes: preserved vegetable flatbread, soft and tender braised pork, steamed bass, every dish was delicious

- 13:30 Outdoor swimming pool
Pool facing the lake, had the whole pool to ourselves at this time, An’an played around happily, so much fun～

- 14:30 Hotel shuttle bus direct to high-speed train station 🚄 heading home～

Two days and one night, didn’t leave the hotel but took great care of the kids, plenty of hotel activities, a stress-free and comfortable family trip for working moms 💯
