London within London: The City of London

A small district located in the heart of London, north of the River Thames. The City of London is somewhat different from what we commonly refer to as 'London.' This area, the first site of the city built by the Romans 2,000 years ago, remains a unique space where finance, law, and history of London coexist. Among the modern skyscrapers, medieval churches, narrow alleys, and classical architecture quietly hold their ground. The rounded dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern, and the remnants of Roman walls you might stumble upon while walking—this is a place where the past and present breathe together, offering a truly special experience.
