I flipped into the water with my scuba tank strapped to my back. After the bubbling sound, a massive dark silhouette gradually emerged in the crystal-clear blue water. This wasn't a movie; we were diving inside the Olympia Maru, a Japanese shipwreck from World War II.

Corals and soft corals transformed the steel behemoth into a vibrant artificial reef, and schools of fish darted between the sides like a storm. Slowly swimming in through the massive cargo hold, flashlights illuminated the dormant engine room, where time seemed frozen. A lionfish gracefully swam past the rusted barrel of a gun, creating a surreal scene of war and nature, death and rebirth. This was a silent journey into a time capsule, a profound tribute to the sea and history.
