This hotel in Dalian is a great choice! I'll be back next time.

Hotel Review | InterContinental Dalian

The location of this InterContinental is pretty good, it's near Zhongshan Square, and there's a Parkson nearby, which is a high-end shopping mall, about 1 km away on foot.

I've stayed for 40 nights this year, so I've been upgraded to Platinum, and my room type has also been upgraded to a corner suite, which is better than a regular room, with an extra corner, and the bathroom has a much wider view.

The room is a connecting room, and you can tell it's quite old, and some people say it's similar to the InterContinental in Shanghai.

This InterContinental offers lounge breakfast, which means if you book without breakfast, but you have lounge access, you can have breakfast in the lounge. But I didn't choose the lounge benefit, so I gave up. And I've been working all night for a few days on this business trip, so I didn't have time to enjoy it.

I didn't have time to try the gym or the pool.

Overall, the InterContinental Dalian is a bit old-fashioned compared to the Conrad, the Grand Hyatt, and the Castle, but it has a great location and the InterContinental brand.
