Beyond the main pumpkin village, the small, standalone structures like the Gourd Houses are incredibly charming. These small cottages, built almost entirely from dried gourds and smaller pumpkins, often feature tiny windows, welcoming front doors, and even little gardens surrounding them. They offer a more intimate, storybook feel compared to the massive main structure. My kids spent ages peering into the windows, imagining tiny pumpkin people living inside. It’s a detail that shows the garden's commitment to whimsical creativity and provides a delightful quiet spot away from the major crowds.
