New Year's Eve at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka

I visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on New Year's Eve!
The preparations for the New Year were already in place, and the decorations were for the New Year🎍

The grounds of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine are lush and spacious✨ It's always a pleasure to visit, no matter how many times☺️ (This was my second visit)
The red bridge stands out beautifully against the green scenery!

Even though there were many people, I was able to spend my time leisurely😊

Speaking of Dazaifu, you can't miss Umegae-mochi!! It's incredibly delicious and one of my favorites😍
I loved it so much that I had it twice😋 I enjoyed it while strolling through the shops on the approach to the shrine, and also had a set of Umegae-mochi and tea at a cafe🥰

When it comes to Fukuoka, you can't forget mentaiko♪ I also had mentaiko chazuke for lunch at a shop on the approach to the shrine😌

The area around the shrine is bustling with many shops✨ Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a classic spot for a Fukuoka trip where you can enjoy visiting the shrine, meals, and sweets all in one day🙌🏻
