Dazaifu is located in a place that can be visited in an hour by train from downtown Fukuoka, so it is a good place to visit for a light suburban trip. There are many souvenir shops, so it is fun to look around the shopping streets, and it is especially famous for the Starbucks with wooden interior. Walk all the way along the approach to the shopping streets, pet the bull's head, throw a 5 yen coin, and make a wish. In particular, be sure to take a picture at the red bridge leading to the shrine. It is so pretty with the pond(?) that it really feels like Japan. 🇯🇵
