5-Day Gannan Tour｜Meet the Most Beautiful Summer Tibetan Village in Zhagana

The Gannan trip for procrastinators is finally here! Especially the much-anticipated Zhagana, I was incredibly lucky to catch a sunny day, and every snap looks like a Windows desktop-level scenic photo📸

Trip Highlights:
Day 4 route is a super condensed essence version:
Depart from Langmu Temple in the morning 👉 cross the Ruoergai Grassland (saw lots of marmots on the way!) 👉 arrive at Zhagana in the afternoon
Day 5 spend the whole day in the scenic area 👉 return to Lanzhou in the afternoon

Zhagana sightseeing highlights:
1. Dari Viewing Platform: Best spot to watch the sunrise, recommended to arrive by 5:30 AM (because you have to compete for the best spot!)

2. Fairy Beach: A meadow full of wildflowers in summer, absolutely beautiful for photos in a white dress

3. Sacred Mountain Hiking Trail: Suitable for outdoor lovers, offers a panoramic view of the entire Tibetan village
Tips: Be sure to wear non-slip shoes, some sections are a bit steep

Food Guide:
1. Yak meat hotpot at the Tibetan family guesthouse in Zhagana is super fresh! About 80 RMB per person
2. Must try authentic butter tea (though many people find it hard to get used to)

Accommodation Suggestions:
Staying in a guesthouse inside Zhagana Village is more convenient for watching the sunrise but conditions are basic; for comfort, you can stay at hotels outside the scenic area

Pitfall Avoidance Tips:
1. During the peak season from June to August, be sure to book accommodation in advance!
2. The temperature difference between day and night is huge (personal experience: short sleeves during the day, down jacket at night)
3. Respect local customs, do not take photos of Tibetan locals without permission
4. If driving, be cautious of many sharp mountain turns
