Dujiangyan Scenic Area Yuzhangshan Yuzhang Pavilion

Yuzhang Pavilion, located inside Dujiangyan Scenic Area (都江堰景区), is a great place to take in the scenery of this area at a glance when climbing Yuzhangshan (玉垒山). You can easily go up by using the paid escalator, and you can come down by using the relatively gentle slope of the hiking trail. The stairs and walking paths are well-maintained, and there are many pavilions and small historical sites where you can rest along the way, so it is not boring.
Yuzhang Pavilion is a multi-story wooden building that shows the classic Chinese pavilion form. Inside, poems by old poets and Confucian scholars are displayed, adding cultural inspiration. When you climb up to the pavilion, you can see the Dujiangyan irrigation facilities, the flow of the Minjiang River, and the scenery of the outskirts of Chengdu in the distance. When we visited, there were few tourists, so it was not crowded and you could spend your time leisurely. For visitors who want to experience nature and history together with the Dujiangyan historical site, this is a place that provides unexpected satisfaction.
