Vietnam Da Nang | My Son Sanctuary Ancient Artifacts Exhibition: Cham Stone Sculptures and a Snapshot of Diverse Beliefs

The exhibition hall showcases a variety of stone carvings and pottery. The most captivating pieces are the reliefs depicting Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu, along with the gracefully dancing celestial maidens (Apsaras). These artworks feature elegant lines and vivid details, highlighting the Cham people's exceptional carving skills. In addition to religious themes, there are images of lotus flowers, serpent gods (Naga), and mythical creatures, reflecting the diverse beliefs and cultural fusion of the time.

The hall also displays ancient everyday utensils and architectural components, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Cham Kingdom from centuries ago. Accompanying texts and images provide historical context that is often difficult to grasp solely from the ruins themselves.
